During this time she was taught by many great musicians. Having enjoyed these courses so much she applied for, and was accepted for an Honours Degree course at Northbrook College in Worthing (part of the University of Brighton) on the south coast of England. Susan then moved back to settle in Perth and set up Grey Row Studios with Malcolm Devenny. She has had great experience over the years of teaching many people.

Emma Neck began singing at the age of seven. She grew up in her hometown of Kincraig in the Scottish Highlands and particularly enjoyed listening to big band/ jazz music. At the age of fifteen, Emma entered a national singing competition (Pop McIdol) and won it. Her prize for winning was to record an album with Charlie McKerron of Capercaillie. From this, she was asked by Charlie to present several pieces of work, one of them was to sing with him at the opening of Kingussie's Community Centre. Emma auditioned for and was accepted onto a music course at Perth College where she gained her Diploma in Music. It was here that she gained an excellent background in many different styles of music.
