Guitar is one of the most popular instruments we teach at Grey Row Studios. We offer tuition for all ages (from 5 upwards) and standards. We try and incorporate many aspects of musicianship including theory, technique, reading and improvisation. We offer a high standard of teaching and personal attention with each lesson based on the individual's needs.

 

Drums are a popular instrument, funny enough for young and old alike. We have found that people have all sorts of reasons for wanting to play drums - some just for fun, some want to join bands, some want to become full time musicians in the future and some missed out on the experience when they were much younger! Whichever reason you have, Grey Row Studios can help you. We can teach you to read music, play along to music and play different styles of music. We teach the basics like, timing, co-ordination and rudiments as well as extending this into the more extensive elements found in rhythm.

 

Piano lessons have proved to be a very popular instrument to learn at Grey Row Studios. If you want to learn to read piano music, improve your skills that you already have on the instrument, learn to play your favourite songs or merely want to have fun then come along and try it!

 

The bass guitar is a fun instrument to learn. We offer tuition to all ages and levels incorporating any style that you wish to learn. It is important to learn the correct technique and be able to move around the fretboard with ease. Grey Row Studios aim to teach this in a fun and relaxed atmosphere whilst gaining the correct knowledge at a pace that you are happy with.

 

 

Vocal lessons started in July at Grey Row Studios' new premises. The vocal lessons consist of learning different techniques: scales, breathing exercises, different styles etc. Not forgetting singing along to some of your favourite songs!
